After attending the Royal College of Art Painting School in London, albedo marz was Tutor in Fine Art at the Ruskin School of Fine Art, Oxford University for nineteen years, and visiting Fine Art Professor at the San Francisco Art Institute. He has also worked as an award winning games and interactive designer alongside his long-term collage, painting and writing projects.

He is co-founder with Joanna Kori of art_house_life, a contemporary arts project based in Ventnor, Isle of Wight.
